Cancer Council Victoria established the Victorian Cancer Trials Link in 2009. Since then it has continued to grow with support from other health services, philanthropic organisations and government stakeholders, including the Ian Potter Foundation, Cancer Trials Australia, the Victorian Government through the Victorian Cancer Agency and the VCCC Alliance.
About cancer clinical trials
All clinical trials must follow strict guidelines to ensure the treatments are as safe as possible for everyone involved. All clinical trials must be approved by specially appointed research and ethics committees, and undergo extensive screening before being tested on human participants.
Cancer Council Victoria maintains the information on this website with support from clinical trial units across Victoria. If you are a health professional, study coordinator or sponsor and would like to add a cancer treatment trial or correct any information on the VCTL, please contact us.
